I’ve not updated in a long time. I’m putting up some shots that I really like making use of off camera flash, great quality of light from God and and amazing 50mm lens. I’ve been thinking of and trying to achieve this kind of warm, dusk shots for a while. I was glad that I was able to capture some with my friend for her modeling portfolio.
2nd Part of Yuqin’s Test Shoot. It was dull grey skies as it has been raining a lot lately. I used a gold reflector to bring in some of that warm dawn-like quality light back onto her face.
Thanks Yuqin. This was a test shot done over the weekend for a new face at Jurong Park. Sunset behind the frangipani tree and an SB-600 on the camera left that the model held. One more good shot from this shoot. I’ll put that up another day.
I was walking out of school when I notice that the new business building is really taking shape and looking nice. I noticed the beautiful skies that afternoon and how the building was designed to reflect the skyscape. It’s interesting how even architects have to borrow the glory of Almighty’s creation to cloth their designs with splendour.
I’ve been testing out Lightroom 3.0 Beta. One of the new features is watermark. Kind of sad it took so long to implement it. So I quickly did up a PNG file for this watermark. There are still some limitations to this.
Anyway, I like this shot of Mia very much.
A studio fashion shot I did quite a while back while learning studio strobes and all.
Personally I love her hair and how the light falls on her hair most. This was shot with a Canon 20D, 85mm f1.4 Lens. I’ll hold back on posting the rest for now.

I love my starbucks mug. Though I don’t drink coffee. Photo was taken with a flash behind the mug and some black base. This was shot with White Balance on Cool White Fluorescent.
In celebration of crossing the 1400 total views, and busiest 1 day traffic since the website started that I had wanted to do since about a week back
